Hello all and welcome!! Leveraging my followers as inspiration, I’ve decided to start Lez Get Together - a collective meant to facilitate sober bonding opportunities for Lesbians, Bi women, and sapphic people in Chicago - including myself - to build or expand their sapphic family. I have gained a following via my TikTok account @daniela_cbgz, focused on queer dating advice and have started quite a community! I have learned so much from my queer following, the biggest highlight being that members of the sapphic community are longing for opportunities to build genuine connections, particularly over spaces that are non-alcohol centric. I am hosting our first event - a Lez Get Together Launch Party on February 25th. This event will be a facilitated mingling event with non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails. I will be introducing the collective, our mission, and leading a mingling session for folks to feel more comfortable in this new space. Please note, I am selling tickets due to the cost of the venue, non-alcoholic beverages, decoration, and snacks. I will be setting aside 10 tickets for same day / door purchase. By purchasing a ticket and attending the Lez Get Together Launch Party I consent to the following: IN CONSIDERATION OF the risk of injury that exists while participating in LEZ GET TOGETHER LAUNCH PARTY (hereinafter the "Activity"); and I HEREBY, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives (hereinafter collectively, "Releasor," "I" or "me", which terms shall also include Releasor's parents or guardian if Releasor is under 18 years of age), knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Activity; and I HEREBY release and forever discharge LEZ GET TOGETHER LAUNCH PARTY, located at 600 W Cermak Rd, Chicago, Illinois 60616, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns (collectively "Releasees"), from any physical or psychological injury that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation and consumption in the aforementioned Activity.
