This International Women’s Day, join the PSL for our first-ever San Antonio drag show! Since its historic founding as a global holiday over a century ago, International Women’s Day has always honored the resistance, strength and organization of working-class women worldwide. There is no more important moment than right now to uplift that tradition! Last summer, the ruling class succeeded in eliminating the popular and essential right of abortion, extinguishing a core basic right for women and for all those who need access to abortion. This is a turning point and has triggered a larger effort to reverse civil rights, voting rights, marriage quality, and other key achievements of the LGBTQ community. That’s why on this International Women’s Day, as we prepare for the epoch battles ahead, we invite you to lift up our Stonewall-era heritage of militant and fierce resistance to capitalism’s anti-democratic attacks! Join us as we say: “We’re here, we’re Queer – DON’T MESS WITH US!”
