What is this group? This support group is intended to help entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate the stresses that come with starting and running a business, while still trying to be mindful of self-care and family. If you are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, lost, stuck or frozen in dealing with your business and would like the space to talk about it, receive strategies for managing it, while being surrounded by like minded individuals "that get it"... then this group is for you! Who is this group for? This group is for anyone 18+ that ultimately work for themselves whether full-time or part-time. This would include entrepreneurs pursuing small business ownership, independent contractors, private practice owners, and current small business owners. What to expect: A space for open communication, so you can talk about and explore the emotional aspects of being in business for yourself: the good, the bad and the ugly. It's a therapeutic space of sharing emotions and experience. There is nothing so healing as knowing you’re not alone in your struggles, and nothing better than celebrating your successes in a space with others who get what these successes really mean.Brief lessons, education and training in stress management, mental health, and resilience, and other topics as the issues arise. A sharing circle! You will learn and practice skills that empower you to handle the curveballs life throws your way. Gain a community of like-minded individuals to grow with, network with and support. Because peer support is important!
