Are you a small grower interested in learning more about food safety and how to practice food safety on your farm? If so, this workshop is for you.
We will discuss the concepts of food safety that small farmers need to be aware of in the packing shed. We will cover the basics of packing line sanitation, when and how to sanitize, and how to ensure that your sanitation method worked. We will have a mobile packing line onsite for demonstration but the techniques covered can be applied to a variety of pack house situations.
