Intimate interviews with the victims and children of the cycle are combined with the eye opening and heart breaking stories of the abusers themselves to take you deeper into every facet of these American lives. Evening 7pm Film Showings for Day One - When Women Kill (1983) and Down and Out in America (1986) "When Women Kill" explores the lives of women behind bars, and the often impossible circumstances that led them there. Grant’s documentary film, Down and Out in America, follows the impact of the mid-1980s recession on Minnesota farm workers, unemployed urban workers and the newly homeless in Los Angeles and New York When Women Kill (1983) and Down and Out in America (1986)
