Wondering what a sound bath is? A sound bath is a type of meditation or relaxation practice that involves being bathed in sounds created by musical instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments. The idea behind a sound bath is that the different sounds and frequencies created by the instruments can help to calm the mind, relax the body, and promote a sense of inner peace and well-being. Participants in a sound bath often lie down or sit comfortably while the sounds wash over them, and may focus on their breath or simply allow themselves to be absorbed by the experience. The idea is that the vibrations from the instruments can help to soothe and balance the nervous system, creating a deeply calming and restorative effect. Some people also believe that sound baths can help to release tension and emotions, and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Come join us this Sunday March 5th from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm for another magical sound bath experience at The Yoga Barn in Arlington! Macarons, purified water, and tea will also be served! NOTE: Sound Bath will take place on the second floor of The Yoga Barn. There is ONLY stair access. Doors will close and experience will begin PROMPTLY at 6:00 PM to ensure the integrity of the experience, so attendees should plan on arriving 10 minutes prior to 6:00 PM. We do not allow late entry. Tickets not transferable between events and no refunds or cancellations within 7 days of the event. What to bring: -Yoga mat or blanket to lie down on, or a comfortable folding chair if you do not want to lie on the floor. -One or two pillows to put under your head and knees, a comfy blanket, whatever to help you feel comfortable and warm as we will be lying on the floor.
