Spring Wreath Making

Carol MacLaury of Peabody Mountain Artisans in Weston, VT will share her incredible talents in wreath making and decorating. We will gather to create a springtime woodland wreaths starting with a grapevine base. We will use gathered moss, bark, princess pine and whatever else I can find in my woods. Being March there will be little foliage outside to harvest so Carol will be gathering assorted varieties of eucalyptus, lavender and other greens that will dry well. Included in the wreath will be a little birch bark vase at the bottom that will hold water to display a few fresh flowers. We will be starting with fresh foliage and overtime your wreath will become dried for your continued enjoyment.Participants are encouraged to bring any ornamental birds, butterflies or bugs to incorporate into their designs.
