CONNECT and NETWORK Drinks & light eats appear in the Hub’s kitchen starting around 5 p.m. or so. Grab something and meet someone new! LEARN what you need to GROW YOUR BUSINESS Attend workshops curated to help you move your endeavor forward. BBB Accreditation and Its Offerings, Koorndyk We'll review and discuss the value of accreditation and the benefits it brings to a business. We will also be discussing the application process and the standards required to become an accredited business. 4 - 6 P.M. Office House, Dayton SCORE, Brick House Free Business Advice From Experienced Mentors: SCORE mentoring is a free service offered to anyone that owns or wants to start a business. Partnering with you one-on-one, SCORE mentors support your success through offering experienced advice, consulting on best practices, and educating on small business topics. 5:30-6:30 P.M. Why an Entrepreneurial Mindset is Key for Business Success

 Developing an entrepreneurial mindset requires focus and dedication, but it is possible with the belief in yourself and the internal and external resources that are available to you. In this presentation, GWDI Director Whitney Barkley will share how aspiring and current entrepreneurs can think outside the box, challenge themselves to come up with creative solutions to everyday problems, and how to develop a growth mindset to find mentors, network, and be proactive in defining and crushing their business goals. 6:30-7:30 P.M. Ideation workshop, SBDC, Main Street Do you want to start a business and have what feels like a million ideas of things you could start? Interested in entrepreneurship? Join us for an ideation workshop, where we will help you focus those ideas and begin to identify your best starting point to hit the ground running towards your new business. 5-7:30 P.M.  ALL DAY — COWORK FOR FREE! Working from home, but need to get out for a day? Back in the office, but not excited about it? Hang out and work in the Hub for free instead! Grab a table on your own, or share a table with someone new. Pop into a private cubby to take a call. Avail yourself of the amenities The Hub has to offer, and when you need a break, pop into the kitchen and chat with fellow coworkers to see what they’re creating alongside you. Also, FYI — University of Dayton Public Safety officers will be on site at The Hub during this event. These officers are on site to ensure the safety of the students of the University of Dayton, as well as the members, employees and guests of The Hub.
