Presented by the Grand Valley Yoga Fest & Hosted by YogaVKirtan is call and response. It is based on ancient mantras and has the ability to quiet the mind when listened to with intention. Kirtan is a very simple & powerful way to meditate. The music and vibrations of the language does the work for you. The mantras are sung in Sanskrit. The ancient chants contain powerful renewing & transformative energy that helps us reconnect. Kirtan is joyful. You can sit and listen and absorb the vibrations or you can chant along with the mantras. “Kirtan is a means of finding our way back to the core of our Being, to our heart, and to our connection with each other.” Ragani Note: Dress comfortably and feel free to bring your own meditation cushion or mala if you have one. Limited chairs available for those with mobility issues. Some cushions will be available. Suggested Donation to Grand Valley Yoga Festival - $5 The Grand Valley Yoga Fest is a non-profit.
