Join us for Nonprofit Network on March 16th from 9:00 - 11:00 am at Texas Life Annex (1000 Washington Ave.) as we learn about language justice with the Hispanic Leaders' Network & United Way. Session Description:A growing number of Wacoans are not native English speakers. Do we as a community have the language resources to adequately provide services to our entire community? Hispanic Leaders’ Network and United Way of Waco-McLennan County have teamed up and launched the Language Justice Initiative to address these issues in response to community input from the McLennan County Child Well-being Movement. Join us to learn more about language justice and how this initiative can support the work of your nonprofit as you meet the needs of the community.
