Description

Join us for an evening of networking, writing prompts and sharing our thoughts. We will begin this evening with a quick networking activity that will allow for everyone in attendance to break the ice with each other and get our creative juices flowing! We will then move into our writing activities which will feature three creative writing prompts, each about 15 minutes long. Followed by an impromptu open mic session with those who are interested taking the stage and sharing their work and energy. This workshop is great for anyone of any genre and writing skill level! You will be supported and encouraged to write in your genre and tap into yourself and to share. We have such a great time doing so! We leave feeling inspired and more creative from each others energy. Please plan to arrive on time so that we can stick to a sharp itinerary. Looking forward to connecting and reconnecting with everyone soon! Jada Cox is a spoken word poet, event planner, and filmmaker, born and raised in Union, NJ.
