This one-day workshop is divided into two main components, Physical Workouts and Spiritual Growth. Participants will engage in guided group workouts throughout the day, including bodyweight exercises, strength training with weights, and cardiovascular drills. During the spiritual growth component, Sheikh Abdullah Oduro will lead a series of discussions on topics related to manhood and spirituality. These include the importance of understanding the difference between male and man, mastering the four qualities of life, dealing with distractions and staying focused, understanding the importance of discipline, and being an embodiment of manhood as a son, brother, father, and leader. Who Is Sheikh Abdullah Oduro? Born in Arlington, Texas, and raised in Houston, Sheikh Abdullah Oduro converted to Islam in 1997 while working as a Surgical Technologist. He was accepted to the Islamic University of Al-Madinah, Saudi Arabia in 1999, where he had the privilege of learning under numerous scholars from various sciences. He graduated from the faculty of Islamic Law in 2007 and completed his memorization of the Quran a year later. He has worked with many Islamic organizations and is currently serving as the Imam at the Islamic Center of Coppell in Dallas, TX.
