About the Program (FOR CHILDREN):
Throughout her lifetime, the Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid gained international fame as a designer who broke the rules. She designed distinctive and freeform museums, concert halls, and skyscrapers that gave her the nickname “Queen of the Curve.” In honor of Women’s History Month, join us for a read-along of The World is Not a Rectangle: A Portrait of Architect Zaha Hadid. Then, like Zaha, we will draw inspiration from the natural world to create freeform tower models of our own!
