Join us as braiders from across the state compete to win $500 and the title of Philadelphia's Best Hair Braider and pop up shop! Enjoy live hair braiding, pop-up face-to-face networking and good music General Admission: FREETHE SCHEDULE 7:00 pm-8:30 pm: Pop-Up Shop & Networking * Pop-Up Shops may remain throughout the entire event! 8:30 pm-10:30 pm: Live Hair Braiding Competition Event HOW TO COMPETE: Purchase the “Braider Entry Ticket” to be added to the competitor list. The ticket covers entry plus two assistants and supplies. NO REFUNDS Vendors: Space is selective and limited. Tell a Friend to bring a Friend ‼️ Come network and meet new people! If you feel sick do not come!! Sanitizer stations will be set up throughout the event. Vendor Wanted - Vendors: Space is selective and limited. $50.00 If you have questions please contact Tamika at 267-252-9718 MODELS NEEDED - Models must be washed, and blow dried prior to completion. Models check-in @ 6:30pm -7:00pm Make-up can be completed prior to the event but IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. BRAIDERS RULE : $75 Entry Fee (EARLY BIRD) $100 After 2/01/2023 The Winner will receive: $500 dollar cash prize THERE CAN BE 2 PEOPLE PER TEAM . IF YOU CHOOSE TO COMPETE ALONE THAT IS UP TO YOU. No Exceptions! Must arrive by 6:30 pm day of the competition Make-up can be completed Prior to the event but IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. ALL Braiders Must CLEAN UP BEHIND THEMSELVES The Contest will start at 8:30 pm SHARP!! Braiders will be graded on the following: neatness, creativity, time, and overall final look. No Curlers, flat irons and blow driers are allowed.
