The City of Palmdale will be hosting a Public Safety Forum to discuss and learn how partners in the community come together to address pertinent public safety concerns and challenges. All are welcome, ages 13 + are highly encouraged to attend! Information and sign-ups for Youth Programs such as: City of Palmdale Youth Employment ProgramFire Explorers ProgramCalifornia Highway Patrol Explorers ProgramSheriff’s Explorers and Vital Intervention and Directional Alternatives (VIDA) ProgramsAdult Workshops(please be prepared to select 4 topics of interest, time allotted will allow for 4 of 6 workshops to be attended): Homelessness LA County Sheriff Mental Evaluation Team (M.E.T) Traffic Safety Crime Trends GraffitiNarcotics Join us in creating a collaborative model of community working together by integrating city officials, members of the community and public safety leaders to communicate public safety issues and needs.
