Are you a high school student who is thinking about life after you graduate? Join the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals in partnership with Houston City Council District D and Phillips66 for our annual Young Professionals University (YPU), a college readiness and empowerment program to educate high school students on their options after school.
The goal of YPU is to give students the tools needed to decide their college option, if college is the right path for them, manage their mental health, financial literacy and overall success as they enter into young adulthood.
We will have raffle prizes that include electronics, gift cards and more! Breakfast and Lunch provided. Must be a current high school student to sign up. Event location: HCC Central Campus - 1300 Holman Street.
