The Winston-Salem Alumnae Chapter is delighted to be the second tour stop for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority's Delta Authors on Tour. Winston-Salem, the City of Arts and Innovation, is known for its dedication and commitment to the arts. We are thrilled that we are able to host this dynamic event in our community. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority's Arts and Letters Commission is celebrating 50 years of supporting the arts. What better way to continue that legacy than by supporting our sisters in their literary endeavors. Our goal is to support these Delta authors by purchasing and promoting their work. Hosted in our city rich in African American culture, influence, and social justice, this tour stop reflects our dedication and commitment to our hard-fought African-American literary heritage. We are asking that you show your support of this initiative by making this stop on the tour, meeting our dynamic authors and purchasing their wonderful books, while taking advantage of all that our city has to offer. This free community event will highlight the women of Delta in a unique way – allowing them to shine through their literary efforts, representing a variety of genres. We look forward to celebrating 50 years of our Sorority's Arts and Letters Commission. This is a free community event and we welcome everyone!
