In light of Black History Month, United Church Atlanta will screen the film Unspoken to take a deeper look at the Christian heritage in Africa as well as the nuanced relationship Black culture has had with Christianity over the years. There will be a post-screening discussion shedding light on the common misconceptions that often hinder people of color from seeing themselves in biblical history and its influence throughout the world.
