Meditation is so powerful in quieting the mind, restoring the nervous system, and creating space to connect to the mind, body, and soul. The benefits from meditation are endless. Using the flame from a candle can be a wonderful technique to aid in mediation. Using the breathe to invoke connection to the candle and stillness within the body, I will lead you into a meditative state of mind. Where you will then be guided to just be. This meditation will also be infused with reiki healing.
One should leave with a better sense of how to mediate, as well as the benefits from the mediation and reiki done throughout the evening. Everyone will receive a candle to take home and are encourage to continue their journey into mediation. All levels are welcome from never meditating before to having a strong mediation practice but would like to work within a group setting.
Please bring tools to aid in you comfort for meditation, chairs will be provided for those who wish not to sit on the floor. Things to bring maybe: yoga mat, pillow, blanket, journal, water, or meditation pillow.
