Just as seemingly ordinary items become beautiful when placed together in a kaleidoscope, seemingly ordinary people become beautiful when placed together in a community which reflects the light of Christ. This event includes a Keynote Speaker, a continental breakfast, music, crafts and lunch. Please join us for this fun-filled and inspiring day. Invite a guest! $30 per person - preregistration required Our Keynote Speaker, Robyn Dykstra, will present, "Beautiful Together." Robyn is from West Michigan, speaks to women across the country annually, is a bible teacher and an author. Event Schedule 8:45: Doors open 8:45 - 9:15: Registration, continental breakfast 9:20 - 10:15: Welcome and keynote speaker 10:15 - 10:30: Break 10:30 - 11:15: Craft Activity 11:20 - 12:15: Music and keynote continues 12:20 - 1:15: Lunch and short closing program When registering for your ticket(s) please select your top 2 choices of craft activity (you will attend only one) and your lunch choice. Craft choices are: Rose Window Mandala Greeting Card - Use the Zentangle process to create a beautiful mandala to frame or for a greeting card. Iris Paper Folding - Back by popular demand! Discover this paper craft technique which involves folding colored paper in such a way to form a design. Create a card to send to a loved one. Flower Arranging - Create a beautiful springtime floral masterpiece in a mason jar, ready to send to someone who needs encouragement and cheer. Cookie Decorating - Learn to decorate cookies that will inspire family and friends to always praise God for our daily bread! Cookies will be furnished by Monarch Bakery. Jewelry Making - Make a keychain, necklace, bracelet and bookmarks using Kaleidoscope designs. Card Making with Watercolor Pencil - Make a beautiful greeting card using watercolor pencil. Lunch choices are: The Ham Classic Sandwich - Honey Baked Ham topped with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, Duke's Mayonnaise and Hickory Honey Mustard on a flaky croissant. The Turkey Classic Sandwich - Roasted Honey Baked Turkey Breast topped with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, Duke's Mayonnaise and Hickory Honey Mustard on a baker's roll. Roasted Tomato & Cheddar Sandwich - Roasted tomatoes topped with lettuce, pickled onions, crispy onions, shredded cheddar, BBQ sauce and Duke's Mayonnaise on ciabatta. Ham Salad Sandwich - Honey Baked Ham Salad topped with lettuce, tomato and Duke's Mayonnaise on multigrain bread. Chicken Salad Sandwich - Freshly made chicken salad with lettuce and tomato on a flaky croissant. Cobb Salad - Honey Baked Ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, roasted tomatoes, pickled red onions, hard boiled egg and cornbread croutons on a blend of green leaf and spring mix. All will be served with potato chips and homemade desserts.
