Grab your girlfriends and make plans to join us this year, April 21 & 22, 2023. We are thrilled to announce our guest speaker this year is Amy-Jo Girardier. She is on staff at Brentwood Baptist in Brentwood, TN. Amy has served as Girl's Minister and now Women’s Minister for 20 years. Amy-Jo is the founding editor of www.girlsminister.com, a website created to connect and resource girls minister, moms, and youth workers engaged in the girls' ministry conversation. She is also the author of two Lifeway Girls Bible studies, Authentic Love and Faithful One. In addition to ministry, Amy-Jo loves talking about Jesus, drinking coffee, running, serving on staff with her husband Darrel, and hanging out with her sons, Scout and Skylar. Design(her) is a high-energy conference for the 6th through 12th grade girls and has been hosted by First Baptist Church in Starke, Florida since 2011. The goal of Design(her) is to disciple young ladies, teaching them to worship Jesus more intimately, build Godly relationships, and develop a heart to reach others. Friday Info: On Friday night of the conference, it has been a tradition to come dressed in semi-formal attire. However, please come in whatever makes you feel comfortable. (as long as it is modest). The girls will be directed to a photo opportunity and then to dinner. After dinner, we will have our first session with worship and a message. After the evening session concludes, church leaders are encouraged to discuss the message in home groups. The girls will receive shirts to wear on Saturday morning. Saturday Info: On Saturday, the girls will need to check in wearing their conference shirts (they will receive this on Friday night) and jeans. Breakfast will be provided that morning. We will have our second session after breakfast with worship and a message. We will then have alternating middle school & high school Q&A breakout sessions and lunch. Early Bird Registration will take place from February 21, 2023 - March 31, 2023 General Registration will take place from April 1, 2023 - April 21, 2023 *A shirt can only be guaranteed for attendees who purchase an early bird ticket.
