Join Firefly Studios to create your very own felted cardinal picture using barbed felting needles and wool. In this class, we will be using dyed wool and fine felting needles to create a lovely one- of-a-kind winter bird ‘painting’. Though no paint is actually involved in this class, the process is similar. Each participant will be provided with dyed wool colors to create the bird and fabric backing as the base. This class goes over the needle felting process, care and needle safety, and demonstration. Examples will be provided. When finished, these felted pictures are beautiful framed, or wrapped around a small canvas. Finished picture is approx. 5”x5″ with a large fabric border.
