The Basic Gun Safety class is designed for individuals who have little or no experience with firearms and are seeking to gain a fundamental understanding of gun safety. The class covers the basics of firearms safety, including how to safely handle, store, and transport guns. During the class, participants will learn about the different types of firearms, the parts of a gun, and how to properly load and unload a firearm. They will also learn how to safely aim and shoot a firearm, and how to properly clean and maintain their firearm. The class will also cover essential gun safety rules, such as keeping the firearm pointed in a safe direction, keeping your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot, and being aware of your surroundings when handling firearms. The class will include both classroom instruction and hands-on practice with unloaded firearms under the supervision of a trained instructor. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized guidance from the instructor. By the end of the class, participants will have a solid understanding of basic gun safety principles and be able to handle firearms safely and responsibly.
