We are delighted to extend an invitation to you to attend our upcoming Charity Gala Event with the purpose of raising funds for Academia mis Raices. Research shows that playing a Musical instrument can developed Self Awareness and also helps to reduce stress, Anxiety and depression. We truly believe that if a Child has the ability to play a Musical Instrument he/she is less likely to think of owning a gun. Knowing how to play an instrument can also help them learn and connect them to there Family Roots by learning how to play specific music from there culture as in Mariachi, Salsa, Cumbias, Merengues, Bachata and much more. There are so many talented kids that are waiting for the opportunity to learn and grow through a musical instrument but they don’t have the privileged to do it because of there financial situation. Academia mis Raices wants to facilitate the opportunity for those kids to have a chance to a better future by succeeding not only as musicians but as human beings.
