Utah State University Tooele County Health Extension, Tooele County Health Department Prevention Services, and Tooele Opioid Response Network, invite you to join us for an educational, family-friendly dessert social! Engage in conversations with our host agencies about awareness, prevention, and treatment of substance use disorder, and become prepared to respond to an opioid emergency by completing a live naloxone training. Participants will: Enjoy a yummy, dessert smorgasbord.Participate in a series of brief, interactive discussions with local prevention and treatment experts, to raise awareness of and find ways to prevent trauma among families in Tooele County.Learn how to correctly respond to an opioid emergency, with a live naloxone training. You'll receive a free naloxone kit to help you reverse an opioid overdose!All adult attendees will receive a free Crumbl gift card for participating.All community members are invited, as we will discuss creating connections and solutions for preventing trauma in families as a Tooele County community. We encourage your input, questions and engagement. Childcare available for ages 2-8.
