The laughs are coming to The Social Restaurant & Taproom when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Naples on Saturday, May 20. Paul Kozlowski is headlining the show, and he'll be there with Alex Brady, Ryan Fay and host Mike Peters. The show will start at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. About the comedians: Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast. Born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y., with one of the hardest accents you’ll ever hear to prove it, Ryan Fay has been performing for audiences across the country for the better part of the last decade. Whether he’s delivering the joke on his heels or in your face, the sharp writing always comes through. A regular at Helium Comedy Club, Fay has opened for a list of high-profile headliners as well as a magician one time. Alex Brady is a comedian from Buffalo, N.Y. He’s a regular performer at Helium Comedy Club in Buffalo and appears on shows throughout Western New York and beyond. Brady lives with two cats and writes brief, generic bios about himself in his spare time. Paul Kozlowski is one of the most unique voices on the local comedy scene. A Cortland native, Kozlowski came up through the Boston comedy scene and worked in New York City and Los Angeles, making appearances in the Shakes the Clown and Punchline movies and on television in "The Chris Rock Show," "Mr. Show with Bob and David" and "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist," along with writing for "The Wayne Brady Show," "Johnny Bravo and "The Jon Stewart Show." He also produces the must-listen podcast, Look Who Showed Up. There's no telling what'll come out of Kozlowski's mouth. But you won't be able to look away.
