Description

Ecstatic dance is a free form of dance with the goal to achieve ecstasy. This is a natural state in which your awareness shifts and you get to experience a meditative and happy state of mind through body movement. Labeebah Sky, Medicine woman and yogi who travels between Wichita and Mexico sharing the power of ecstatic somatic dance. You will be guided into a a short meditation followed by light stretching to prepare your body for 2 1/2 hours of free flowing movement curated to a high viberational trancendental music playlist. The music is specifically arranged to take you on a spiritual journey into your body. No experience is required.We will conclude with a brief sharing circle. The event will take place on a carpeted floor at White Dove Metaphysical bookstore. There will be no chorography taught at this gathering. You will be encouraged to liberate your body to move as it see's fit, in a deeply non-judgemental setting. This event is open to women and anyone who identifies in the female gender only.
