Youth Led is an after-school program where we teach phonics for reading to struggling readers. We would like to invite parents to our reading workshops to learn HOW to assess their kids' reading challenges. Learn hands on skills and strategies to help your child grow through phonics and reading challenges. Let's build stronger readers together! THIS IS A FREEEEE WORKSHOP, WITH A FREEE RAFFLE DURING OUR BREAK!! THERE WILL BE 2 MORE WORKSHOPS IN APRIL, ONCE OUR CAPACITY OF 10 FOR THE FIRST SESSION IS REACHED. The MAIN thing parents tell me when I meet them is that "they understand their child need reading help, but they do NOT know where to start the reading intervention. After attending this reading workshop for parents, you WILL understand how to assess your child's reading challenges, where to start the reading intervention, and why it's NECESSARY to understand this information.
