The Parlor (theparlorreno.com) is proud to present Reno's Second CanAm Game in conjunction with the Jennifer O'Neill Community Ice Arena. We've got some boys from Canada who wants to come down and face off against some locals from the States. Making things even more interesting, we're loaning a few Ice Raiders to each team. All proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics of Nevada (sonv.org). The mission of the Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This gives them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills,s and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
