We are booking a private charter boat to take us out on the ocean in the hopes to see whales (and other life). With an outstanding response (and gratitude for those who signed up), the boat is filling up quickly and we have extended the timeline in order for you to join us. Redondo Beach Whale Watch: Please arrive at 9:00 am. Meet at the red booth shown below. The latest the boat will return is 1:00 pm. Parking is $2 for the whole day with validation from Redondo Beach Whale Watching: 137 N. Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach, Ca 90277 A sliding scale from $25-$75. If some folks can pay $75, they would enable some to pay only $25. $45 is an option as well. Please pay what you can afford. If you would like to join and not pay the Eventbrite fee, email Sarah Ford at [email protected] Eco Wisdom & Compassion Series - SEA Eco Wisdom: This event will offer educational information and connection. A special Whale Naturalist guide will be joining us! The American Cetacean Society's well-known whale protector, Alisa Schulman-Janiger will be on-board for sightings and questions. She is also known for entertainment specials like Amazing Journeys (1999) and Planet Earth Live (2012). Eco Compassion: The UWest Chaplaincy Club will offer a short intention-setting exercise (opening to awe) at the beginning and a blessing/gratitude practice for anyone to join. Participation is voluntary. We welcome everyone from the UWest Community, including friends and family out to sea with us.
