Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! The Chaotic Cookie is here to help! In this 2 hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). We’ll be decorating with a spring fun theme – from worms (don’t worry – these you’ll want to eat) and flowers, birds and rain boots – you’re going to love gettin’ your feet wet in this sugary garden with me! You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! About this Class This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We will be doing a fun spring theme set that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating! We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate! This class is on Sunday, March 12; and starts at 2pm-4pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 30 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo! This class is good for ages 5 and up, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class PowerPoint so you can teach them yourself! The class will be held at Charlie’s Place in Fort Wayne, IN located at 4201 N Wells St Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is pretty easy - just park in the main lot and come through the door to your left! We will be set up on the event side.
