Please Read Caregivers Support Group will start on the first Tuesday of January 10th 2023 and will continue every month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. We ask that you please register if you are planning on attending. Registering helps us to know how many people plan on attending the group so that we may arrange to have the proper amount of sitting. Thank you in advance and we hope to see you at Caregivers Support Group. Who cares for the caregiver while they are caring for others? Mental health has risen and there are so many more people who are caring for someone who has a mental health illness. Todays caregivers are finding themselves burned out, feeling isolated and alone because there isn't many places or anyone that they can turn to that truly understands what they are going through when it comes to caring for someone who has a mental health illness. Below are the areas of care in which caregivers should be balancing their personal self-care: Physical Mental Emotional Spiritual Oftentimes caregivers go over and beyond the call of duty when it comes to caring for there love one. Learning and having balance, along with the right resources is what allows the caregiver to be healthier and function at his/her best. Remember if you are not at your best mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally; you really can't give your best! The first line of caring for others is to first care for YOU!
