OCCGS hosts our 10th Annual Genealogy BASH and Book Faire on Saturday March 25, 2023! Doors open at 8:00 am Pacific Time for Registration; Conference begins at 9:00 am Pacific Time. Each year we bring in an expert genealogy speaker for our day long BASH conference - this year's presenter is Rich Venezia of Rich Roots, a 20th Century Immigration expert and Federal Record guru. Rich Venezia is an expert in his field of immigration, as well as a consultant for dual citizenship applications for Italy and Ireland. He is currently serving as a Member At Large on the Board of Directors of the Association of Professional Genealogists. As well as being an advocate for record availability and research access. As an Author, Presenter and Researcher, Rich has been a member of the research team for a few of our favorite Genealogy shows on television. Including Genealogy Roadshow (PBS) as well as Follow Your Past (Travel Channel) - He spoke at TEDxPittsburgh in 2017, and appears regularly on the morning news show Pittsburgh Today Live. If you are joining us in Person, we are offering lunch boxes from Corner Bakery, for $15. This includes a sandwich, chips, cookie and a Drink. There is a salad option available as well.
