This class will help you advance your personal level of self-defense regardless of your experience and will cover:
Defining Self-DefenseSituational awareness and observing your environmentDeveloping a self-defense mindsetHow to assess your situation and your attackerReaction times and reactionary optionsEffective striking and grapplingSelf-defense weaponsRealities of dealing with attackers who are physically stronger Creating space to escapeParticipants will have the opportunity to engage in simulated attacks which you will defend and counter.
Self-defense is personal. Women of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to attend. Our instructors will help you assess your options and provide you with the opportunity to test your defense in a safe and controlled environment.
This class can host up to 20 participants.
We encourage you to sign up with a group or a friend so that you have someone to practice and review with.
