Bring your Sonoma County Regional Parks pass, or $7 for day use fee. There is also street parking. Foothill Regional Park in East Windsor is a 221 acre wilderness park in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. The park features thick oak woodlands, rolling hillsides, ridge-top views, three ponds, grassy meadows, with spring wildflowers. Foothill Regional Park burned in the Kincade fire of October 2019. This is a moderate 2.5 mile hike, where we will see the results of the fire and also amazing wildflowers. We will stop for lunch at the ridge top. Bring sturdy shoes, layered clothes, bag lunch, and water. Friendly dogs allowed on leash. Carpooling is encouraged. Questions, email Ruthie at: [email protected]
