Paint & Create is a Speed Dating Event for anyone ages 21-40 looking for new friends or a potential mate. Come Paint, Sip & Connect with local singles in a fun & creative way. Art is a great conversation starter and puts you in a relaxing mindset. No experience is needed. You will get to explore together in a fun laid back environment. Meet new people, make new friends, and enjoy the vibe. Who is this for? Singles between the ages of 21- 40. Although this event involves painting, you don't have to be an artist to attend. Most attendees paint simple shapes or even use words. The focus of the activties is not on the finished paintings, but on the interaction during the painting activity. How does it work??? We start with a group activity to warm up and attendes can order food or drinks during this time. (Food & Drinks are Not included) 2-4 people will be stationed at a table for a short period of time where they will do a socializing activity with each attendee. Each person will participate in a series of rotating Activities that include painting and card games. What makes Sip & Create different from traditional speed dating??? Traditional speed dating events put pressure on you to be interesting by talking about yourself within few minutes. This is rarely effective because each person is concerned about looking and sounding good, instead of connecting with another person. In these situations, you normally end up asking and answering the same superficial questions that don't define who you really are (“What do you do?". "How old are you?" etc.). Our approach focuses on creating a space for the attendees to connect through art and various socializing activities while laughing and having fun. This helps brings out the “real you” (interesting person inside) in a natural way.
