ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Kimberly Parker is a former lawyer with expertise in disability advocacy. She is the Founder of Special Child NWA, a resource and advocacy service for children with special needs. Previously an appointed member of the Arkansas Department of Education Advisory Council for the Education of Individuals with Disabilities, Kimberly has served on numerous boards, including AIM (Autism Involves Me), the Northwest Arkansas Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities/Grace School, and Spectrum Living Solutions.
THE RACHELLE CENTER FOR FAMILY TRAINING:
Training and support to parents and caregivers of students with special needs in the public school system.
These trainings are for parents and caregivers of students who want to understand the special education process and who want to sharpen their advocacy skills.
