Description

This workshop will be a fun and easy introduction to traditional embroidery, with a modern geometric aesthetic. During the 4 hour make & take workshop students will use, almost exclusively, a back stitching technique. This is a great way to highlight how a simple stitch can be used in a multitude of ways to create beautiful patterns while working in a grid. All floss, embroidery hoops, fabric, and tools will be provided. Everyone will take home their own creation and the know-how to create embroidered patterns and projects in the future.
