Land of Outsiders presents the inaugural Michigan Outdoor Summit, a two-day event held on September 26-27, 2023, in Traverse City. Support for the Summit is being provided by Heart of the Lakes, mParks, and the Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance. First of Its Kind // The Michigan Outdoor Summit is a gathering for all sectors of the outdoor industry in Michigan to connect, learn, grow, and build together with a vision for the future, health, and vitality of Michigan's outdoors. Through programming, networking, and outdoor activities, this event focuses on how we strengthen our communities and the outdoor economy and improve health and quality of life for all Michiganders. We’re working to bring outdoor companies and organizations across the state together to solve the unique challenges Michigan faces and create a thriving outdoor economy for years to come. In other words, think of us like a base camp for the outdoors — we’ve got a big tent, so everyone should fit just fine. Get Inspired // Hear from influencers in the industry and stay informed about current outdoor issues through educational tracks and panel discussions. Network with business and organizational leaders working to support the outdoors. Let loose (responsibly) at our Saturday evening network and chill sesh, or set out early Sunday morning on a micro-adventure.
