Capacity is limited, please sign up with a friend with whom you will be comfortable practicing the techniques.
Dauntlez is a 501(c) non-profit organization whose vision is to transform communities by empowering individuals, especially women and teens to prevent, resist, and/or defend against different forms of personal violence. We do this through workshops and classes to educate the public on the mental and physical strategies for prevention and defense.
Teen dating abuse is a public health crisis. According to the 2013 National Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 1 in 3 high school students experiences either physical or sexual violence, or both, by someone they are dating or going out with.

Healthy relationships and boundariesRed flags of an abusive relationshipFactors that contribute to abusePhysical self-defense techniques to defend against violenceThe workshop is open to teens 13 to 17 years old. REGISTRATION is REQUIRED, and PARENTS must register their teens to sign the waiver forms.
