This summit is a celebration of Black Male Educators, Instructional Assistants, Counselors, Program Specialists, Administrators, Youth Development professionals, and all Black male educational personnel in the state of Washington. We thank them for their dedication to the services they provide, to young black men specifically, and the impact it carries towards fellow educators, and members of the community. Attendees will take part in several workshops hosted by captivating professionals and have the opportunity to learn new strategies to build effective classrooms, coursework, and ideologies for students of color, while improving their own personal development. The theme for 2023 Black Educator Summit is: Setting the Stage for Success: Equipping black male educators with the tools to enhance your classrooms, students, and self. We plan to conduct 3 workshops. Each titled: “Setting up Your Classroom for Success” “Setting up Your Students for Success” “Setting up Your for Success” Embodied in all aspects of Black Educator Summit, are the ACE FAME beliefs to prepare men for excellence through the core values of family, academics, motivation, environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to: Interact with educators from other schools, backgroundsExpand their knowledge of classroom management and employment advancementAddress and implore daily the benefit of dismantling racial inequalities within the educationalsystemImplement strategies that promote effective programsCreate partnerships and network
