We will explore evidence-based strategies that create an emotionally/physically safe school environment, as well as techniques to remain calm in the moments of chaos. Join Kim for an interactive session filled with great information and tips to empower YOU and the children you teach! Saturday, April 29– Kristen RB Peterson- There are many things that children do that drive us wild. Things that get under our skin. But, the thing is, the things that children do that are driving you wild are all developmentally appropriate for their age! Kristen is going to help you see how developmentally appropriate practice (when fully understood) can help you get to the bottom of the "naughty behaviors" and how saying YES to children will meet their needs in a way that you can both be satisfied.
