Description

This South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit Class (SC CWP) will fulfill all the requirements for you to obtain your SC CWP. It is taught as follows: the classroom portion is taught live in-person in Greenville, SC. The classroom portion will go from 9am until about 1:30pm. We will then meet at 2:45pm at our range for the shooting portion, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. There will be NO additional cost for the shooting portion. It is included in the fee you pay here. Fingerprints will be provided at no additional fee by IdentoGo (contracted by SLED). Information will be given to all attendees. This class will cover the basic training required to get your South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP). The class is taught by M. Scott Magaw, a law enforcement firearms instructor and SLED Certified CWP Instructor. For the shooting portion, attendees will need to have the following: 1) Pistol or revolver (some rentals are available on a first come first serve basis - please inquire about them) with BELT and OUTSIDE THE WAISTBAND HOLSTER (no cross draw holsters, please). (SEE BELOW NOTE FOR RENTAL PISTOLS). We may have some holsters that work for your firearm - email [email protected]. 2) 25 rounds of ammunition (bring 50 if you feel you may need extra help qualifying) 3) Shoes that can get dirty or muddy. No high heels. Rain gear is good to have with you just in case - we shoot at an outdoor range. *****NOTE***** Pistols with ammunition are available for rent for $25. Email [email protected] to arrange for pistol rentals and ammunition. Rental pistols come with holsters.
