Dance the night away, celebrate with your classmates, and enjoy yourself at USD Law's annual Barrister's Ball. Food and drinks will be served. Your ticket includes unlimited food and drinks. FAQs: - What is Barrister's Ball? Barrister's Ball is like a law school "prom." There will be drinks, food, dancing, a photobooth, and more! - Will there be food? There will be unlimited wood-fired pizza and salad. There are vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free pizza options. - Drinks. What does open bar mean? Free drinks from 9 p.m. until 12 a.m. There is a cash bar option from midnight until 1 a.m., although we do recommend taking it easy after midnight. There are non-alcoholic options, such as mocktails and sodas. There is a welcome drink. Please tell the bartender if you want a non-alcoholic welcome drink! - Attire. What do I wear? Formal attire is recommended. You might wear a nice gown, tuxedo, or any other formal wear. - Will there be a coat check? There will be a coat room with no attendee. Feel free to leave extra shoes or drop your jacket at your own risk. - Will there be a photographer, and will the photographer finish before the night ends? Yes and yes! The photographer will ensure to capture appropriate moments. - Can I bring off-campus guests? Yes! The guest must purchase a ticket. - Transportation. There will be a Lyft credit provided by Law Student Affairs. Additionally, there is free parking at the event. Do NOT drive if you are planning to consume graduate level beverages.
