Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists Continuing Education presents the 2023 Joint Replacement Symposium. This interdisciplinary event will feature speakers from all disciplines of the joint replacement team. The overarching goal of this program is to provide a detailed overview of the entire joint replacement journey, from the initial diagnosis to full recovery from surgery. Registration opens at 7:30, presentations start at 8:00. Breakfast and refreshments are included with in person attendance. Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is accredited by The Medical Society of the State of New York to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists designates this live lecture program for a maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists (BOC AP# P10096) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 3.5 Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Physical Therapy as an approved provider of physical therapy and physical therapist assistant continuing education. This program is eligible for a maximum of 4.2 contact hours. Registrants wishing to receive reimbursement for events that charge a fee must do so in writing (email responses are acceptable). Requests received up to 72 hours prior to the start of the event will be given a full refund. In the event of an emergency, health or travel-related reason for needing to cancel after the 72 hour deadline, a written request for refund must be received within 24 hours of the conclusion of the event. Special circumstantial cancellations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and up to a 75% refund may be issued.**
