This April, Emily & Nicole will be running the Boston Marathon and London Marathon 2023. We are committed to the goal of running all 6 World Major Abbott Marathons (NY, CHI, Boston, London, Berlin, Tokyo) as a way to raise awareness for causes that are close to our hearts. Nicole will be running for the Brain Tumor Charity. I was diagnosed in July 2021 with a large brain tumor. I lost 50% of my hearing and underwent months of a difficult recovery having to teach myself how to walk, talk and see again with the help of therapy. Along my journey, I connected with the Brain Tumor Charity and an inspiring community of survivors. Emily will be running for Spaulding Rehab's Race for Rehab team. Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital provides comprehensive rehabilitation and medical management programs for people recovering from—or learning to live fully with—illness, injury and disability. My mission over the next months is help Spaulding patients get the treatment that they need to live their lives to the fullest. PLEASE show up within 30 minutes of the event start time if you purchased a ticket on Eventbrite. We will be selling tickets at the door, but it will ONLY be based on event capacity.
