Get to know more famous Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders with fun activities, games, and a chat with Veeda Bybee, author of a brand new book for grades 3–7 entitled Shining a Light: Celebrating 40 Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders Who Changed the World. Registration required. For ages 8–12.
Parents, stay after this event for a "Meet the Author" event at 5:15 PM in Library Hall. Listen to a conversation between Veeda and Utah author Yamile Saied Méndez, followed by a reading from the book and a book signing. Copies of Shining a Light will be available for purchase.
