Spring has Sprung! Join us for a sensory Easter egg hunt and Easter bonnet contest, open to adults, boys, and girls of all ages and abilities, including those who are visually impaired.
Easter egg hunts tend to be a very sensory-rich experience due to the group of excited children, loud noises and high-energy competition. For many children sensory-rich experiences are not enjoyable, provoke anxiety and create overwhelm and meltdowns. A sensory-friendly Easter egg hunt solves those problems.
We will have three different egg hunt sensory times:
from 11am to 12 noon for 0–5-year/olds
12:15pm to 12:45pm for 6–11-year/olds
12:50-1pm 12 years old and up.
at 1:15pm the bonnet contest will take place.
Our event will be designed to be accessible for everyone, and we will provide additional support and accommodations to ensure that all participants can fully enjoy the experience. Don't forget to take pictures with the Easter Bunny too! This event promises to be a great opportunity to celebrate the arrival of Spring and Easter. See you there!
