Nearly 1 out of 2 adults in the United States has high blood pressure, or also known as hypertension. Within the Hmong community, high blood pressure is often undiagnosed and not medically managed. There are no symptoms to look out for, which is why it is important to check one's blood pressure. High blood pressure can lead to health problems such as stroke, heart diseases and heart attack. Through this preventative care event, we aim to raise awareness among the Hmong individuals and their families about High Blood Pressure along with the value of maintaining good health
