Award-winning Chef Michael Arrastia is returning for an encore dinner after selling out our Valentine's Dinner last weekend! For this one-of-a-kind experience, we're partnering with Ireland's West Cork Distillers to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day and The Westbrook Inn's Scotch-Irish settlers who immigrated from Ireland in 1718. Chef Michael is an award winning chef who received critical acclaim as executive chef of the Bacon Gastropub "The Hangover Pub" in Worcester, Massachusetts. Under his direction, the restaurant was awarded Best New Restaurant in Central Massachusetts and Best Brunch in the State of Massachusetts by Livingly.com. He's been featured on Guy Fieri's Guy's Grocery Games and the Travel Channel's Man Vs. Food. His talents have also been featured on Chronicle, Phantom Gourmet, and NESN's Wicked Bites. West Cork Distillers was formed in 2003 by childhood friends, John O’Connell, Ger McCarthy and Denis McCarthy and located in West Cork, Ireland. The group's award winning West Cork Irish Whiskey is sold in almost 70 countries and they are the largest, wholly Irish owned distillery in Ireland. The Westbrook Inn was first settled as Nutfield in 1719 by twenty Scotch-Irish families from Ireland. Nutfield is believed to be the first Scotch-Irish settlement in America. Westbrook's land was used as the Common Field where the first white potato, an Irish staple, in America was planted. It's an honor for the Siragusa family to celebrate their Irish heritage with West Cork Distillers.
